When Johnson assumed the presidency, he did hold the racist view and opposed to the freedmen. However, Johnson was removed ultimately by radical republicans. Of the 14^th and 15^th amendments, they firmed the rights of black. Finally, the reconstruction ended along with the election of 1876.

B、Opinions

  The reconstruction changed the level of Black in the whole society. These freedmen avoided planting cotton and owned their own choice. Even though some political conflicts happened, the agriculture advanced well. The economy of U.S. was not only developed by agriculture , also these industrial trades. The industrial revolution boosted the economy growth especially the railroad that was the original business. In order to curb the business, the government controlled the authority and listed few strict regulations. Moreover, the high competition and large market employed huge number of workers so that they suffered a lot like long-hour work, low wages, dangerous workplace etc. Even some children under 16 years old joined in these work. However, this period provided a good opportunity for the women. They also can go outside to work because of economic necessity even though they only received half or less of man’s wages. Anyway, some philanthropic like Carnegie raised funds, and improved the poor. So the labor unions uphold the rights of employees. Overall, in my opinions , the level of women could be raised again and the proper role of governments on economy should be improved. So in the late 19^th century, more high educated women had joined in suffrage that let the president of certain country is women like the vice premier of Swiss.

One of the famous brand name of the motor bicycle was Benz which was entitled by the first successful gasoline-powered motor vehicles’ inventor. These changes made the foundation of present society.
